Principal's Message

 

Dear Rummel Creek Families,

It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Rummel Creek Elementary (RCE)!

I’m honored to serve such a remarkable school, and I look forward to a year of partnership, learning, and continued success.

As I begin my 19th year in education—and my 15th in Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) —I’m eager to get to know our students, families, and staff, and to support the strong academic and relational foundation already in place at RCE. This school is known far and wide for its excellence, traditions, and tight-knit community. It’s a special place, and I feel so lucky to be part of it.

My leadership philosophy is simple: relationships first. I believe that strong connections make teaching and learning more effective and more joyful. As we head into the new school year, I’m especially excited to deepen my understanding of literacy and numeracy instruction in the primary grades and to support our teachers as they help every student grow and thrive.

I look forward to connecting with each of you in the months ahead. Together, we will make 2025–2026 an incredible year at RCE!
